Alissa Crawford

Knowing minds shaped by new ideas can never regain their original dimensions, Alissa Crawford sparks creativity and cognition in teachers and students. For over 18 years, Alissa has created learning environments where every participant can learn in the ways most meaningful to them. She continues to challenge minds while encouraging their curiosity and imagination. Her passion for transforming Ameri-can Education is fueled by her role as a Regional Coordinator for Oklahoma A+ Schools. Combining crea-tivity, inquiry, and Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory provide a pathway leading to arts in-fused school re-form that illuminates student strengths while building their weakness. She holds an B.S.Ed in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Christian University and M.Ed. in Gifted and Talented Education from Oklahoma City University. Alissa enjoys reading, snow-skiing and every moment spent with her husband and twin boys.
